Happy July 4th: George Washington himself was a huge admirer of Cincinatus (he even setup the Society of Cincinatus for his revolutionary generals) and used him as a role model for a lot of US government structure. Upholding civic virtue, the OG decentralization maxi at least from a separation of powers perspective
