one of my favorite authors - shaped a lot of my thoughts growing up also to riff on what you're saying, i was talking to @know about this today -- i like to think about how others are feeling similar emotions that I am feeling, and that I am not alone in my suffering, or in my happiness, and that there are many others out there at this exact moment feeling a similar way, and it's comforting, in a way

it’s a great little book. there is a part at the end of the book that left a lasting impression on me. he talks about how a simple act of how you walk could convey so much. I think about it all the time. on your riff - totally agree. the moment I take a step back and see my troubles in the grander scheme of things - my body and mind starts relaxing. you can physically see the difference.
