Alright -- I got really into this idea yesterday (it's not a Bond film anymore) but, I did end up writing a 15-page 8-episode TV series outline for a film that takes place in the near future, would go something like this: A potentially AGI model emerges from a mysterious Chinese Hedge fund right as a populist billionaire AI first candidate runs for president that promises AI prosperity. Around the same time -- at a San Francisco AI lab, an AI researcher whistleblower at the populist billionaire's company 'commits suicide', leaving our protagonist one final message to look into her death. This is the thread that our protagonist tugs on to slowly start unraveling something much bigger than meets the eye... I feel like the tag line for the tv-series / book should be something like: - "When the reflection demands a painter -- who holds the brush?" - "What happens when the mirror asks, how it should look?"

If anything it’s sort of a way to express, it’s a vehicle to show and externalize ideas, what I think about AI, rather than writing a paper about it. A long blog post or a short story, I think.

Not surprised that you challenged yourself this way. To add to what @tcw said, it’s more palatable to express these concepts in this kind of format over others. Personally see this best visualized in the style of something like Mars Express (which, if you haven’t seen is definitely worth adding to your watch list)

Stories are always better than a straight download of philosophy Captures attention better and becomes more available for more people. You gonna post it at some point for people to read?
