It’s kind of a weird way to sum all of this up but that is also how I feel

Tend to agree. I’m in my low 30s now and this has been thematically something in my life that has been unavoidable more recently. We have our first child on the way and almost every part of this process is out of our control which has been very humbling, but rewarding to grow through.
