I remember come back to the US from Japan as a kid

The airport, and the attitude of immigration just often felt like an insult

creating and destroying; built flying cars & autonomous vehicles, now building roc.camera, writings: july.rocks

I remember doing this as a white American adult.

All I can say is I'm glad to have moved on to automated passport gates.

US immigration as a whole is aggressive and does feel insulting still IMO, specially as a foreigner.
