when you're a kid you go out in the world and the world is full of possibility you grow up and others / and the world convinces you that that's not the case, you have to struggle, we have limited resources, and limited time and whatever yeah, it turns out that is wrong

Ever since Riva Tez posted this presentation (iirc it was for Praxis) it’s been my header Once I’ve been to a traditional Japanese onsen the bottom sentence is going on my arm or hand Resonates greatly coming from a rural place I think, being in love with the US and tech for the opportunities was looked down upon

It's more and more accepted. Side side note - I remember a friend of mine bathing with several band-aids supposed to cover her tattoos that were actually floating around her... I feel that was gross enough to make onsen owners be more open-minded :)
