like washing the dishes, on a hectic day, washing dishes calms me

How do you take a call on such situations?

efficiency and resiliency are on the opposite ends of the same spectrum.

Just because something can be optimized, it doesn't mean that's an optimal use of your time

I think that sometimes, the optimal use of your time is to do suboptimal things

sometimes the cost of optimizing is greater than the inefficiency
