IDK, I think the whole matrix thing feels like groupthink at this point. It's a false dilemma anyway, we need to dream bigger, take the matrix back, bring the machines to heel, reclaim our birthright. Besides, the matrix could serve as a QOL medical treatment for those with crippling health problems, it just needs a physical<->digital bridge to enable it.

I was thinking more The Matrix in this context as a metaphor - it’s more a lack of desire or an aversion to wanting to know if you know, or just maybe a lack of energy or desire to know what’s going on or care
