Yeah - it’s so incredibly easy to say. It is so hard to prioritize and take a long term, there are so many pitfalls, so many distractions. It’s like Odysseus in The Odyssey, so many sirens, so many things along the way, temptations, resistance both external and internal to yourself

There are so many things you can do that boost short term clout or make your life easier along the way, but I think if you take a long term view it’s not the quickest at all to climb the short term mountains.

It’s so much harder than it looks. It’s so easy to glorify. It’s not glorious. It’s usually dirty and rough and doesn’t work and you just kinda fight your way through it

Absolutely, focusing on long-term goals is tougher than it seems. It’s easy to glorify the end result, but the reality is often messy and challenging. It’s about pushing through those rough patches and staying committed despite the distractions and setbacks. What helps you stay motivated during those tough, less glamorous moments?
