how to learn french (advanced version):

> delete duolingo. download migaku.
> leverage the algorithms (youtube, spotify) to surface interesting content as per your taste. 
> change your phone’s default language to french. once you do that, you can translate all tweets into french with one click. 
> start having conversation with chatgpt advanced voice mode 
>> total immersion

i tried to do this for learning chinese before but it was quite difficult. how long did it take you to get over the initial hump of the fact that your entire phone is another language and you have to grapple onto using the app icons for context and search has to also be in another language?

Not sure about Android, but on iOS you can change the language of individual apps instead for a gradual change.
