yeah both are kinda super-organisms that act at the org level if you think about it, like a whole ant colony or bee hive === a human body at some level, also human society is an organism on itself i guess i loved this read about and brdiges a while ago https://www.quantamagazine.org/the-simple-algorithm-that-ants-use-to-build-bridges-20180226/

idk why but this also made me remember about this article on the differences structurally ath the bee hive reproductory level that make bees die when they sting you vs wasps https://www.subanima.org/bees/ also, would love to see some robots using the ant-bridge algo to self-assemble bridges in real time to cross terrain 😂
