when I worked as a personal trainer and taught fitness classes, people would ALWAYS try to skip the warm up and stretching portions of sessions, and if I have one tip for your overall health/fitness it is DO NOT skip the warm up or the stretch!!

Learned this lesson a long time ago. Although it’s helpful to know the difference between dynamic and static stretching and how to warm up properly.
