10% transaction fees & steep bonding curves are somewhat off. Why not focus on growing the pie, onboarding many more people to play games with us with fair transaction fees (1-3%) which likely translate with more users and additional activity/volume in more revenues ?!

Some fee taking from speculators is a solid business model. You can tap into real (Eth staking) with idle sitting assets as seen in lotteries. Generating returns with other idle sitting assets is possible too but I prefer "normal business models" like subs, pay for premium, etc.

I'm sure (crypto, category, random) ads work too but I'm not a fan.

You can check SWEAT wallet where people also got paid to watch ads I think. Lots of opportunities in that area as you may also know from mobile games (but I'm not into it anyways 😅)
