Working on Farcaster and Warpcast. Longer thoughts at https://dwr.email

During $degen days (aka the time Farcaster got adoption) I wondered about all this negativity from OG Farcasters. I thought it was about the spam.

Now it’s popping up again since @dwr.eth & co are leaning into growth and crypto (native features, community). And just now I’m realizing many Farcaster OGs are actually against growth, crypto, speculation & the people standing for it.

This also explains why Farcaster tokens haven’t performed much better. There is a lot of capital but the current audience is majorly anti-crypto trading.

It’s time to onboard many more users and get out of this niche or Farcaster will be next Europooor 😄

Ps: I’m prob the last person that is for short-minded extraction games. But I’m all here for a hypergrowth success story and not another niche forum with random strangers on the internet.

Fair enough, can't be confined to the cryptocurrency cabal, but first we need to consolidate our position in the cabal

guess the problem is only this happening - speculation led growth can build momentum, but if say it does not get enough devs to build here, it would potentially not be very useful.

hoping more users led to more devs being interested in building here
