Brands right now are stewarded by their company, but created by their community. I wonder how that will change with web3 and experiments like @nouns

Nothing is really changing - the heritage brands we know today, were shaped by their community which forged longevity. It’s only the “performance marketing age” brands that were shaped artificially/synthetically. What we’re observing with /nouns is a revival of raw authentic community first brand building.

I think it becomes far less interesting to use brands as a divider (like in traditional companies) but more as a common ground to give context and recognizability in collaboration
