Serious question:

Should I follow more people on Farcaster?

My initial thought was the follow only people I knew IRL or have interacted with outside of Farcaster. 

I am starting to feel that this is close minded.

I would love to hear what your thoughts are on following count, pros and cons?

I also want people to reach out to me if they see that I can help out in any way. This is probably the primary reason for wanting to follow more people tbh.

It is called Social Media not private media for a reason. Socialise more, talk to more people. On an average you would have to do atleast 3 new conversations to make/find one sensible friend. So don't shy away from talking to new people.

Digital network is supposed to expand our connections. I follow plenty of people that I haven't met

I just follow people 1) That I know 2) that cast engaging and interesting content
