In Japan I rarely check reviews anymore. It’s really more, “hm…what do I want to eat.” and go to 1 of 3 of that genre of food within walking distance. Restaurant quality and quantity is great here.

hmm, ignoring cost, shibuya is high ev. Hipster: shimo kitazawa Cool: Daikanyama, naka meguro High end: Toranomon / Azabu Culture / shopping: shibuya Urban / gritty: shinjuku Good thing is you can get anywhere fast and cheaply on trains. Lot of folks stay cheap in asakusa and train into shibuya.

I’d try to be within 30m by train to shibuya, especially if it’s your first time. That’ll cover a lot of ground. Shibuya is kind of the center of Tokyo. Most people meet there or branch off there to other parts.
