One way to prevent spam views is to associate a proof of work per impression, so you have to mine something 

This way it’s costly for bots but unnoticeable for the avg user

This was one idea I had when implementing ad analytics at the startup I left, but traffic wasn’t huge enough for us to bother yet

The proof of work used for verification could also be part of a Bitcoin mining pool not just some random PoW protocol

This way the network generates btc and also reduces spam
