Made a butter chickpea dish from the NYT Slowly cook down onion in half stick butter. Add ginger, garlic, cumin, paprika, garam masala, can whole tomato. Cook down 10 Add chickpeas and cook another 10 https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1020739-indian-butter-chickpeas?smid=ck-recipe-android-share

I think to make it even more of a week day meal, I'd use the baking soda trick to get the onions going faster, took 30+ minutes the good old fashioned way
