Something I’m thinking about after posting on Farcaster for the first time in a while:

The only way for me to force notify my followers of a cast is to not post for a while

What if posters could pay a minimum fee (set uniquely by each follower) to auto notify their followers of a cast🤔

I think giving people 1 "announcement" a week could work. We almost launched that feature a year ago. Might actually ship it.

If this was a part of Warpcast and not Farcaster, would this risk, in a world where there are a sufficient number of Farcaster clients, put people at risk of having to pay for an announcement on Warpcast, then CB Wallet, then Recaster, then...

I'd be worried about it either pressuring people to only post on Warpcast or nickel and diming them because of the "fragmented" nature of the client ecosystem.
