What projects are farthest along in thinking about how to decentralize L2s? (Sequencers, provers etc.)

That's a good question. The closest I've seen is Scroll with their vision for decentralized provers (but don't think that's been built with). There is a somewhat stealth proj I know of that is working on enabling this vision for all crypto middleware (oracles, L2s, etc) :)
