Channel update summary

Since this cast yesterday, we've already:
1. Brought older channel casts back to user profiles
2. Added a dedicated channels tab in notifications to everyone
3. Proposed an iteration for how replies work to be more inclusive

Still on our radar:
4. Make it easier for people to request to join a channel, leveraging the growing set of tools built by developers; channel owners can decide how they want to do it
5. Make it easier to invite people to your channel from a reply / DC / profile
6. What to do with abandoned channels

What are we missing?

Also worth pointing out that the next "big" project is onboarding directly to a channel.

Rough idea: you can invite someone to Farcaster and when they sign up, they immediately join your channel(s) and their initial home feed is weighted toward your channels and people you interact with a lot. 

Should help solve having a group of people to interact with on Day 1 without worrying about not having access to channels and/or spam labeling.

as protocol fees get lower and lower, it is making more sense to sponsor signup fees for app/channel members

i haven't played with invites in a while, but will there be a way to customize the flow of onboarding a user to an app/channel and sponsor the fees? 

that'd be super elegant software
