What are we missing? Also worth pointing out that the next "big" project is onboarding directly to a channel. Rough idea: you can invite someone to Farcaster and when they sign up, they immediately join your channel(s) and their initial home feed is weighted toward your channels and people you interact with a lot. Should help solve having a group of people to interact with on Day 1 without worrying about not having access to channels and/or spam labeling.

Not sure how you feel about this, but this feels like a great opportunity to re-engage CT and dormant users around this new "primitive". Some people probably left because they felt overwhelmed. I wonder if there is a way for community mods to find those dormant users and try to bring them back in a decentralized way.

personal feedback: i usually select a channel when i write a cast. it pisses me off when i can't select it, i don't go to the channel page => search for host or link => message a person. also once you've done it you need to wait a few min and update the page so it actually lets you cast. i'm really struggling with these new channels update and it made my experience so much worse

i love this idea. i am a huge football fan (not soccer) and i am aware that all sports fans have a group chat or multiple group chats and i really feel that channels could really replace them + some crypto native features like frames will really explode certain use cases like betting, live score feed etc. going to bring all my sports fans onto farcaster soooon

1. Categories (tags) within channels would be dope to make it easier to find specific content 2. Cast in 2 channels in the same post (useful for art so we dont have to keep recasting the same content in various relevant channels) 3. More than 1 pinned cast 4. Rules so we dont have to put them in the description

as protocol fees get lower and lower, it is making more sense to sponsor signup fees for app/channel members i haven't played with invites in a while, but will there be a way to customize the flow of onboarding a user to an app/channel and sponsor the fees? that'd be super elegant software
