Anecdotally, using cursor has been an insane unlock (shout out to my claude boys)

But think it most benefits those who understand semantics but not syntax. Ie. technical folks without SME in languages / frameworks 

If you’re a total newbie though, AI gives you a crazy foot gun (for now, I expect it will get even better)

the people who are saying ai can basically replace software engineers:

1. people who aren’t software engineers 
2. software engineers who have only worked on trivial problems
3. charlatans and attention-mongers

I do not think AI (at least not now) is going to be able to produce commercial grade software, 

However, could be a good gateway to get more comfortable with learning.. with the hope of getting into actually trying to be serious about being a software engineer.

Very curious of how many people have been successful with building a basic frame for example by using AI
