I send him this answer.... I'd say two things: 1. Find a couple homes here...places that you vibe with and can add value to what others are doing or interested in that you are also interested in. Encourage people, help them. options like: /gmfarcaster /okbanger /yellow /success /justbuild 2. More widely, be others focused. Ask people about themselves & what they are building. Find ways to add value to other peoples' work and projects. As you do that, note what/who you resonate with and seek to make the connection deeper. I'd be interested in hearing more about you IRL--what you like, know a lot about, what you like to do...to make some more specific recs.

The first day I came, I didn’t know anyone except for one friend who invited me. The environment wasn’t familiar to me at all, but little by little, I made friends. I’m trying to create my own cabal, expanding my group of friends so newbies can just be newbies without getting overwhelmed. For followers, they’ll come eventually but for friends, channels are the probably the best way, just find something you’re interested in and interact with people on there
