Well maybe you're just too early. 

I also think that if someone asked me if we wanted to go eat desert, I'd definitely say yes. 

Who is to say you can't have a 3 course menu of deserts. And then you probably need to add a long walk🤣

my main priority is to normalize asking people to go out for desert, for the benefit of mankind

I also like to do one of my favorite German traditions: Coffee and Cake. 

Can't go wrong with that. We should have crypto coffee and cake meetups instead of drinks imo.
