Right is more pleasing. The white space between the border and the QR balances everything, in the same way a you might use white matte-board to frame a picture. The left creates a lot of tension in the upper left and lower right corners, where the large black masses compete with the border.

i just asked the printer to get rid of the grey line... 

i'll cast the new pics once i get them

Right. The grey outlines in both makes the boarder look fuzzy and out of focus. Maybe you have to do that for the QR.
