part of me wants to work on a defi protocol

maybe defi + gaming?

crypto pm @ sp-ce | building ui/ux for the masses for companies like wormhole, pyth, and zksync 

maybe

i feel like gamefi feels game specific and protocols could conceptually work across different games

terms matter less than the concept which is what i think is exciting

thinking about financial layers that aren't tied to any single game — protocols that players could access across different games and in-game assets 

so less about one game's economy and more about shared liquidity, rewards, and ownership across various games + ecosystems

makes sense. more like a defi protocol layer for games to plug and play vs trying to build their own economy

yeah, exactly 

better than each game having a siloed economy

i think this definitely helps solve a big problem for games. 

it’s hard enough to create a compelling game built on crypto rails, develop all the gaming loops, and bring the ui/ux that people expect of good games. 

but also having to focus on creating a token, launching it, and listings/liquidity, etc. 

for a small team, they may not have the resources to do both at the same time.
