the success of farcaster depends on many clients being good 

not any one client being great

the warpcast team has shown us how to build a great client 

but it isn't enough 

sufficient decentralization is about access to the network, yes, but it's also about choices 

where to broadcast?

where to associate?

et al.

The proliferation of multiple Farcaster clients is one of our motivations for /concept-testing

Instead of founders trying to compete against Warpcast on their own, we can collaborate on open-source projects to help new clients flourish

Interested in social infrastructure | slowly building /firstdraft, curating /concretejungle | markfishman.xyz

this is a good approach

competing against warpcast is not worth the effort, imo

(and i say that as a paying subscriber of supercast, which i use to monitor @ornamental and @atlas)

some new clients need to emerge, and begin to capture attention in new ways
