Farcaster is a place for side projects right now, not serious companies. Maybe will change in a few years. But I don’t believe we will ever see another client compete with Warpcast, which makes it all the less interesting to me with the lack of client decentralization.

never spoke to him, but i don't think it's so open-minded to say that companies being built on farcaster are not serious companies  

i'll give him the benefit of the doubt that by "serious" he means vc scale opportunity

Yeah should have worded it better, meant VC scale in the short term

for sure, definitely an emotional decision, and i'm sure they wanted it to succeed

... On the same page. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he is shutting down the product and he is frustrated. So, he is making extra bold moves.
