If you’re a Whoop user, try out this GPT I made. Intentions are to help know when to increase weight during strength training based off your recovery and sleep scores. It’s my first GPT, so let me know your thoughts or suggestions on anything that needs to change! 🙏 https://chat.openai.com/g/g-AicSKKacG

Noble intention, but whoop recovery/sleep scores are useless Proprietary algorithms hide all necessary info and even if they didnt, metrics being tracked cannot track adaptation to strength training You may not realize how complex and multi-factorial true “recovery” is

Put eloquently, whoop hides their validated data capture methods behind proprietary algorithms that return a “score” that is unusable and inaccurate for improving or gauging athletic performance It’s been studied and proven in literature that the “readiness” score is useless
