Building a family is difficult because it's an unavoidable state transition that nobody is really prepared for. Pregnancy is a hard phase too, hard for her mentally and emotionally (her hormones are all over the place) and hard for you because your role is passive, often not well defined, and secondary (or even tertiary). It's hard but it's important -as much as it is feasible -to try to carve out time for you two, time as a family, time for each of you to be alone. In practice though that's almost impossible. You just need to get through it, focus on the good and not dwell on the bad too much. All of it is phasal and you'll move into a new phase quicker than you think.
I've just finished up a screenplay,  and we've moved house recently so we've been busy with renovations and the move and everything associated with it. It's been tough to balance it all but we're nearly done and things should be easier in all respects from here on out.

what would you say is that shared vision?

The people are so special here. I had no frens here when I joined, but have been able to make them. We support each other toward a shared vision across many projects, events and actions and I think that makes a difference.
