one week ago someone contacted me on telegram after having seen my github profile, to offer me my first formal job as a programmer on a web3 company i dont really understand how this happened. or why. but its an opportunity that can be life changing, and im excited by it the perspective of stability that comes from having a formal job is appealing not having to shill my own stuff to make a living not being directly attached to the emotional rollercoaster that having all my $ on crypto is (which has worked for the last two years) tomorrow i have the first interview on the round of interviews, and im going to it with openness and a willingness to add value to that place to meet people. work alongside them. and create something together if you want to go fast, go alone if you want to go far, go together thats what is inside me right now. it may be that this doesnt work, or even that this job offer is not real. idk you never know but i know what this has brought to me, and im grateful for it so far gm

ngl especially after I got hacked, I block and delete messages from people all the time on TG for private messaging me. It's cool to hear that this wasn't a person with nefarious intentions! I am sure you will do great my friend. 2025 is the year I aim to finish the programming courses I've stalled out on Coursera. Learning now about this thing called a "growth mindset" which isn't a new concept for me but learning about it IS. Anyway, good luck bro and congratulations!

idk man. at one point of the process i was asked to download something. and that was like HEY. this is starting to remove my trust on this, and i don't know the level at which people are willing to go to scam these days but im doing it on a computer where i don't have anything that they could steal me and would really hurt. i think btw how were you scammed?

someone reached out to me via warpcast DC, claiming to be the dev for @custompunks, said he read about my @degenduckynft and was interested in getting my help for his latest project. He said that I needed to download some software to be able to help them. Within moments of hitting download on the software, my antivirus software kicked in and I mentioned this to the person, who attempted to reassure me that this was due to the "certificates not being approved yet, as the application was in beta testing". I went as far as attempting to download it again, only this time within moments of starting to download I got distracted by my wallet extension on my computer acting buggy, so I logged back into that and as soon as I did my phone started going crazy with transactions being approved to send funds to some wallet I had never heard of before. By this time (2-3 minutes after the first attempt) the google meets call ended and the person changed their name and/or blocked me on warpcast. I think I got keylogged
