i think that the fundamental issue that outsiders have with farcaster is that they can't conceive that we can actually craft such a powerful and positive community in here

at least that is how i feel it. this place makes me feel alive. creative. i feel a strong need to add value. to make something that makes your life a little bit better

whoever you are, wherever you are, there is something in you that makes me feel alive

and that is truly special and unique of this place

When people reply to non-political posts with weird political attacks.

For example on Facebook, if I post "Oliver had his first day of school today" I will get a flood of comments from distant relatives and old coworkers saying shit like, "Good luck with that, in Biden's America they will just brainwash him. You are better off homeschooling."

Those kinds of off topic doomer political argument picking are why I haven't opened Facebook in years.
