if you're an american urban elite or hicklib the most punk rock thing you can do is name your kid matt or mike or sarah or emily. atticus, juniper, asher, cleo, arlo etc. will not set you apart from the other montessori parents, where everyone's looking to exact revenge on their uncreative middle class parents for naming them jeremy.

this made me think that the most punk rock thing i can do is name my son Jorge (my father and grandfather have the same name and i don’t like it)
