today i realized what's one of the core roots of polarity in my life. like where it all comes from. and it was observing my parents interact with my daughter. and asking her:

how was your kinder today?

she is 3 years old. and that question is polarizing. it forces you into thinking about your experience doing the thing, and attaching to it some sort of label. good or bad. right or wrong. left or right. we are literally wired in the tune of polarity, and this is one of the strongest sources of that. at least in my experience, with my family 

and the thing is that there is actually no need to polarize experiences. they just are. it just was. kinder today, just was

but since we are kids we are asked:

how was it?

i hadn't seen this with the clarity that i saw it today. pretty wild. and freeing. it felt freeing
