im on a step flight on bogota omw to farcon and just got an eSIM paying with the tips that i got from people on farcaster today when people asked me why i was going to nyc it was hard to describe it tbh. a conference of programmers (?) was the easiest one but what is happening here is way more than that tbh. and going there is celebrating feeling -and being!- part of it

it was the easiest because most people don't really care about it. they just ask out of politeness and a very small degree of curiosity, but right away the conversation shifted towards *them*, which im fine with and understand why. and not explaining with depth why i was going kept like a small little secret that i only know because i only know how cool it is to have decided to create my online presence here and when i answer *a conference for programmers* it creates some sort of distance that allows for them to not ask it is actually hard to convey to people how much better it is to create than to consume. that's what farcaster pushes me to do. create all the time. and most people are too used to spend their online time consuming content instead of creating it so there is like a base layer of separation that i acknlowledge and have recognized over time. and its fine. it doesn't really matter. i don't put too much butterflies about the fact that im travelling irl. i just keep it low key and do my thing

you're so right. there's something about being on here that makes you want to create. it could be anything! like today, i joined an open mic session hosted by @mattlee, who's also created a platform for artists to also create onchain!! and it's wholesome and beautiful to see. i love it here.
