Something I noticed watching kids:

When they make mistakes, they think it’s hilarious. So weird! Well that went wrong. When older humans make mistakes, they are sometimes ashamed, embarrassed or blame others, rarely think it’s funny 

I hope to laugh more when at my own future mistakes

is this a consequence of them not valuing themselves from the perspective (opinion!) that others have of them or is it us living our existence on the quest of that acceptance? whatever that may mean
