i used to host a podcast and this was the entry point of the conversation. the idea is to eliminate the identification of the guest from their status or achievements, and use their answer, in this case this album, as an entry point to an open conversation

What did you think? This one is a bit different and raw. Sublime are kind of cultural icons here in the US. This album is from before they were famous. Their next self titled album sent them to fame as it was more polished and ready for the masses. The lead singer, Bradley Nowell, tragically passed away not long after the self titled album release. They are now making new music with Brad’s son as the lead singer. I’ll include a link to their new single with Stick Figure:

Their music is kind of a hodge podge of dub reggae, ska, punk, hip hop, and other styles with some bilingual flair.

i liked the cross-mixture of different weird things that i did not expect. like the starting of the album with something related to crypto. then before the third song speaking about the mfer that was preparing a cannabis cigarrette, etc. v cool music, that wasn't on my landscape at all. thank you for sharing
