unfortunately in crypto, almost everyone is misinformed by design sort of the thing about multiple options competing for half a user, sold as decentralised @metamask is still the best first-time wallet *if* someone is trying to learn. if noob just wants to dip toes and try something like minting an NFT or making a swap I'd suggest @rainbow personally I'd never recommend coinbase products. but that's because of what @natrix pointed out. coinbase freezes funds like it's going out of fashion. their bread and butter is custody for the elite and now Base, which is the most successful but unaligned L2

kinda offtop, but also not, maybe you'll like it tried this frame today (better on pc for now) not exactly for me as countdown scares me 😆 and i just enjoy staring at the screen for time being, gathering my thoughts, but maybe you'll find it useful https://warpcast.com/jpfraneto.eth/0x9ac4b5c5

what i loved: - the in-frame chat with ai - that's much better than talking with it in threads - overall smooth and nice (although i was trying from mobile, and there are thing to be fixed) but re main functionality - i'm not at all a target audience. i don't even use drafts in warpcast. when i need to write, i just open notes app. so i'm biased 😆 just tested the app out of curiosity. i think there are a lot more people who find the concept and its implementation useful for them and provide a way better feedback. i think setting a fixed amount of time can be a good incentive for ppl to concentrate and dedicate themselves to writing. but that counter going red and closing the chat makes me panic (reminds me of school exams or sth when you're limited and have to sacrifice quality for the sake of time). if i get into this situation once, next time opening the chat i also start thinking about it and it gets in the way of actual writing somehow

this is great. thank you. the thing with that red effect is that it is supposed to actually trigger you to write without thinking, and that is the proposal that the app wants to bring. like you can draft "good thoughts" in other places, yes, but the idea is: come daily to do this here. to write like this. and once you get into the rhythm you realize that the only rush was you trying to "not be wrong" instead of just allowing thoughts to flow freely but that's the design challenge that i have been dealing with the last two years. is that only inside me? or is it actually good and helpful? what you say is so important

i think everyone has their own speed they are comfortable with..also converting thoughts/sensations into written text involves much more thinking somehow i guess. i always prefer writing to talking, but in this case, recording audio could probably grasp the of stream of consciousness better (if that's the goal), eliminating the need for typing, and then having it transliterated or even post-processed to a summary/analysis could potentially be a banger. but that's just my sleepy mumbling. it's actually a very interesting theme to think about, and i'll def get back to this
