why does it make you feel how you feel about this specific feature? what bothers you?

i understand. thank you for taking the time for replying. all valid tbh, and don’t have much to say. a big part of me tells me my experience here is net positive for my life, but it also could be that im just projecting a bias

Mostly because I do some onboarding for social purpose orgs and other folks who really don't like the gambling and other speculative stuff.

I don't mind it personally, but our web3 hobbies are super niche. Most regular people don't like this stuff. Warpcast's user archetype is out of touch w/ the average person in a major way.

When it comes to the social purpose orgs we facilitate, too much speculative stuff and niche web3 builder culture is a deal-breaker. It turns them off of web3 and makes us look like a bunch of unprofessional crypto bros.. And that's really a shame because Farcaster has some amazing features and creators that would be super relevant to them.

Warpcast enforces a certain culture, whether by feature releases or just Dan lashing out at affinity groups that trigger him, or wjatever.. And that narrows the pool of potential users to just an echo chamber of crypto people.
