What does this word salad mean? "those critics are almost more biased and less intelligent and honest than those they attack" - is he saying they're less biased but also less intelligent and less honest? Or they're less biased, more intelligent and more honest?

He also dismissed an entire book by just reading the table of contents; if he read the book he'd know it wasn't that the NYT "got it wrong" but played an active role in the atrocities they (didn't) cover - i.e. covering for Stalin and Hitler and Castro
