Update to the Trending feed

- if you don’t follow the channel, you won’t see the casts in your Trending feed

- previously Trending was globally computed

- Nouns channel getting active was dominating the Trending feed

- so if you follow Nouns channel, you’ll see the casts in Trending; if not, you won’t

Does that also disincentive posting in channels? Is there a threshold where things will still end up in general trending channel?

But if I’m not following the channel then the content is getting blocked for me right? So if a caster wants to reach both in and out of channel casters posting in channel hurts them…am I missing something?

Not really, since Trending casts in channels get boosted to everyone following the channel's home feed.
