If you're a 20-something feeling down because of the Forbes 30 under 30 list drop today, it's mostly an anti-signal. 

The legit people are legit because people already know the company / product / work and the ones you've never heard of until the list, well, they mostly fall off the map in your 30s.

These lists are ad driven. 99% of the time there is a thru line to an organization buying ads or the person has a social profile that attracts ad buyers. 

Still an overall positive signal imho and something to be proud of.

But def not something worry about.
