Is social networking crucial to your career? Why?

That way you find out what top performers are doing and identify problems to solve for people who say No.

What are you interviewing for? 

Imho 1-3 are self evident if you have knowledge of the landscape and spend time researching. The other 2 seem like fine ways to gain knowledge for you but won’t tell you much about them and their dreams of what a platform could do for them. Which is I think closer to what you’re looking for with them.
