Escrow type mechanisms that pay once the work is completed is the fairest and most straightforward, imo.

Can you provide some details? What is the group trying to accomplish? Who are they? It's impossible to say one governance framework is more efficient than others when we don't know the context.

This is a real problem, and it's going to continue to destroy a lot of value until we fix it.

Risk. Still too centralized for a lot of large asset managers and protocols. We need to get to stage 2. And then probably decentralize it even further.

What is a good standard setup for writing contracts with forge/foundry in VScode? I'm using the Solidity extension in vscode, but the linter is all over the place. Constant problems with import errors (when the path is correct) and half the time it doesn't even lint properly.

Isn't char limit enforced that the protocol level? I remember asking about this in the dev telegram ages ago.

It's true! Especially because we have to read it and there's no possible way to skip or scroll past long messages.

Hopefully with Vitalik saying this, it might actually move the needle. Limited msg length => programmable Twitter (old Twitter). Unlimited msg length => programmable social geared for alternative clients.

An alternative quote is "The people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do." Not sure which one he actually said. The point is the same.

"I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this—who will count the votes, and how." - Joseph Stalin. Onchain voting is so underrated, it's hard to fathom.

Money is simple, easy to verify. Contribution is more meritocratic, but more subjective and harder to verify fairly. Both have trade-offs.
