Farcaster

Don't buy farcaster accounts. You might get rugged. 

They were designed to be easy to use in a social app, not to be traded like nfts. Some tradeoffs we made will make it harder to trade them safely. 

For example, someone can set a recovery address, transfer the account to you and reclaim it back a few hours later.

I agree with @v but I would add also Farcaster OG NFTs, not only accounts. They were earned, meant skin in the Farcaster game. They should be soulbound tokens,  but they’re not, so at least there should be take into account first ownership vs later owners

IMHO your FID represents your history in Farcaster, the content, reactions and relationships you've been building. Selling this when anybody can get a new user (not anymore a closed beta) makes no sense, but making money selling followers and badges

If Farcaster wants to be a decentralized social protocol, then users should have full control over what they want to do with their FIDs. If @v and team make it harder to trade FIDs, how is this decentralization? It’s the opposite, a centralized authority forcing me what to do with ‘my’ account.
