What’s the consensus these days on perma storage solutions is it still pretty much even between ipfs and arweave?

I replied to a similar question the other day: https://warpcast.com/jonniesparkles/0xb3620176 Ultimately, they're both capable of ensuring permanence (unchanging) while Arweave is also designed for forever-storage at its core. Plus I'd say stronger censorship protections (tho I've seen fair arguments the other way).

Oh this is great! Thanks for that! You mention that you can kind of do both, by using and ipfs hash and storing data on arweave do you have more info on that?

Very welcome! Interoperability is still early days but, for instance, you can tag Arweave data with an IPFS CID using ArDrive: https://docs.ardrive.io/docs/cli/using-the-cli.html#ipfs-cid-tagging The discoverability of data between platforms is what needs work but the approach is "tag now figure the rest out later".
