Plex to Sonos or another speaker system? Any other containers?

2 Zones from a 9.1 onkyo receiver:

1. Finished basement 5.2.4 atmos config
— 2 Martin Logan Edge (L, R) 
— Martin Logan Motion 8i (F)
— Martin Logan 16” sub
— 4 overhead PSB CS850
— 2 KEF 150 (rear)

2. Outdoor patio
— Polk Atrium8 SDI

For active listening I scored 2 90’s BOSE speakers from an estate sale. BOSE used to CRUSH speakers before they started mass production. These are better sounding than the ML’s.

Very interesting problem to solve! I’m curious what your ideal “user story” sounds like. For me, the phone is the ideal remote (with connected watch).

I use AirPlay to receiver. I’ll connect my MacBook with cord if I’m using it. The fidelity is fine. If active listening with Bose, I’ll wire in.

Those are sick. I have been looking for some of these actually. 

When you’re running plex into these, is it a headless plex (on a pi?) into the receiver or something else? Mobile cast directly to the receiver?
