yeah. seems like the self hosted infra is there but its all about clients, usability, and speaker/cast support, which honestly still feels lacking to me. its a shame bc i want to rely less on streaming for a lot of reasons, and sonos seems increasingly focused on streaming vs self hosted libraries

curious about this too. I used Subsonic back in the day which was solid but took some setup. I couldn't really get into using Plex/Plexamp, it's like too much of a side feature for Plex
